Barra de Potosi is a tiny tranquil beachfront fishing village in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. It is home to a popular lagoon, where you can view the locals fishing for crabs. There are a couple of good seafood restaurants with a great view of the bay, Bahia el Potosi. We rented rooms through Airbnb, one of our favorite ways to travel, and we stayed right on the beach, Playa Blanca. One afternoon we were fortunate enough to watch the whales breaching the waves right off the shore in beautiful Mexico. It was amazing!
The whales we saw were breaching in front of these two giant rocks.
One morning we made the drive to Zihuatanejo to visit the market.
We found this little guy on an evening beach stroll. My flash let me get a decent shot of him.Our view, with a breeze, from our room.

This is what it is like trying to get a decent picture of my four rugrats…. after probably 20 images these were my best captures
This Airbnb property was a winner. We really loved our stay here.
Take a look at little man’s sunburned and peeling shoulders! Too much time in the sun :-( I swear I put sunscreen on all of them!
And that concludes our stay in Barra de Potosi! Hope you enjoyed the colorful pictures of Mexico :-) Signing off, Tina

Buy me a cup of coffee
A ridiculous amount of coffee was consumed in the process of creating this project. Add some fuel if you'd like to keep me going ;-) Gracias!

I live in Mexico with my hubby and four kiddos. I keep busy with homeschooling, traveling, and my Bible ministry. I love photography and writing, so I blog. My family is a little nutty but nutty is never boring and always an adventure. And I love adventure!

We really did too! It was so different from Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo. No people and so tranquil and authentic!
