Last December we were in Guadalajara for a Bible convention. We arrived a few days early and went to Guadalajara Zoo. As far as zoos go we were impressed! It was a great day and we enjoyed ourselves, kids and adults, alike. If we have the chance we will definitely return. Enjoy our photos :-) Signing off, Tina
Please share this post so I can continue my photography and writing. Thanks!
The entrance to the Guadalajara Zoo is pretty cool. And there is a handicapped accessible entrance too!
I think the donkey was part of a Christmas scene for the holiday. We don’t celebrate Christmas but the donkey was cute!
I don’t know what Sawyer finds interesting on the hippo’s bum.
If the lemurs wanted to interact with us they could. We were in their enclosure. I guess we weren’t that interesting.
The fun begins with these little monkeys…
They were unbelievably friendly and very sweet! (Yes, I see Tristan trying to climb over the fence… don’t worry. He is safe!)
Our kids absolutely loved visiting with these little critters.
Actually, everyone loved them!
The monkeys were a favorite from our Guadalajara Zoo visit.
I love the look of the water cascading over this old water valve…
This polar bear performed for us. He jumped in the water as soon as he saw the kids.
Tristan didn’t know the bear was swimming behind him…
When our son discovered him, he was in awe.
Tristan spotted a black bear. I love his grin :-)

This colorful guy wanted to be hand-fed breadcrumbs :-)
Self-Portrait is available in my shop – Capturing a shadow.
I don’t know if this leopard was curious or hungry. Either way, he posed for some great images.
I love the reflection of Sawyer in the glass.
Alexis is a great big sister :-)
The Guadalajara Zoo sits in front of a huge canyon on the edge of the city.
Honestly out of 10 family pics this is the best we could do.
Visiting the petting zoo.
Tristan gave the pony head-butt.
Safari ride at the Guadalajara Zoo
The highlight was feeding the giraffes.
Sorry buddy! The food is all gone!
Our last crazy picture before we leave. What a great day at the zoo!

A ridiculous amount of coffee was consumed in the process of creating this project. Add some fuel if you'd like to keep me going ;-) Gracias!
