Journey to The Center of The Earth, the board game, is such a fun game for family game night! We played it with two people and with four people and it is entertaining both ways. Last time we played the game we tried to include our nine-year-old son. He didn’t last long but I think it is only because of his ADHD and his age. Our 14-year-old and our 16-year-old girls both enjoy it. It’s unique, it’s strategic, and I like it!
I tend to choose games based on reviews, (funny as this is my first review), and how they look. Looks may seem silly but I guess I am a visual person and I love colors and design! I also like different and this game fits that category for me. It’s not your usual board game! Journey to The Center of The Earth Game is based on the Jules Verne novel and also has great replay value.
I also could not for the life of me, find a set of downloadable PDF instructions for this game online so I made my own PDF of the original rules. They are not perfect but they work and will allow you to learn more about “how to play” Journey to The Center of The Earth, the board game. I hope that the game designer will not ask me to remove them. You will find the link below. And don’t be overwhelmed by the instructions! I am learning that all the great games have some serious instructions ;-)
