Sawyer must have smelled good because this horse couldn’t get enough of him! This is Tennessee. He is one of my favorites because he is such a sweetheart and loves people.
I love horses. They are such gorgeous, majestic creatures! We have a beautiful horse club in Morelia only a few minutes from our house. Most of the horses at this club are friendly and curious. Club Hipico de Morelia is owned by a lady named Ruth, who also happens to be a friend of ours. Taylor had a two week horse class in December and Alexis will have a two week horse class at the end of July. The girls are loving it and I think one day Sawyer will too.
We were able to visit the club the other week. Besides horses the club also has plenty of dogs. Tristan was able to ride one of them, a gentle giant, a Great Dane! Sawyer had his hair washed by Tennessee. Alexis made friends with Peso. Taylor had an hour long riding lesson and did a great job after a bit of practice! Brad and I supervised. We enjoyed the fresh air and being outdoors with our beautiful kids. I snapped lots of photos and I didn’t realize there was a water spot on my lens till after the first few shots :-( But Tristan posed so well for the camera I had to post them anyway. This is just another part of Mexico that I love. Signing off, Tina

    Tina,
Beautiful photos! My niece is just taking horseback riding lessons and it's a sweet time when a girl loves a horse! :) Hopped over from Sarah Ann's link-up today!

What a fantastic place! Horse riding is such a great hobby and it looks like your children have a natural affinity with both the horses and the dogs there. Love the photos of Sawyer being nuzzled and obviously enjoying it! Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.

Thanks for linking on my weekend blog hop! I've only been fallowing your blog recently, but for me, these are the best photos of all. They are truly beautiful, even the water spot adds atmosphere. By the way, Great Danes are not meant to be ridden by children as their backs cannot take it, but I can see that your little guy is being supported by you, so not all his weight is on the dog's back. It's important for everyone to know this and that is the only reason why I bother mentioning it here. Even Zebras have weak backs, but they can be ridden by children as in the movie, Racing Stripes. It was filmed in our area here in South Africa. We got to meet some of the animal actors. :)

Thanks Tina! Appreciate the info on Great Danes too! I completely agree. It's good to let everyone know that it is not safe. Just in case someone decides to actually try it. You never know!

Thanks Sue! But we are native to the US not Mexico ;-) It doesn't really matter though. The world is my home, oh how I will roam!
